Animal testing info

On August 1st 2016, I threw out all products and house hold items that had been tested on animals. As I am someone who owns a lot of makeup and beauty products I wanted to make sure that I was giving my money to companies that are cruelty free and do not test on animals. As of 2016, hundreds of companies have stopped using animal testing and started using science as a way to test their products. Even though the number of non-animal testing companies out weigh the ones that do, there are still many well known companies that continue to test on animals. If you are reading this and don't understand what animals actually endure during animal testing click here to find out. I have put together a list of companies that test on animals, and a list of companies who don't. There are some controversial companies due to certain laws in different countries as to whether they still test on animals or not.

What you can do

These days there any hundreds of companies to choose products from that do not test on animals. Here are some steps to taking action against animal testing:

1. Simply STOP buying any products tested on animals. - there are hundreds of alternative brands that you can buy the same prodcust but for a beter cause. (apart from medicines of course)

2. Educate Yourself and Others - if you are unaware of what really happens to animasl while being tested on, click here for some information. (warning it can be quite graphic)

3. Spread Awarness - if you are shopping with someone and they are buying a product tested on animals, let them know and tell them what happens to them. I have also made some flyers/posters to spread awarness so feel free to print them out and post them anywhere you like!

4. Sign Petitions for animal testing in Australia and all over the world. Here are a few:

Help End Animal Testing by Supporting the Humane Cosmetics Act

Stop the Beagle puppy animal testing breeding facility

Britain just approved a farm that breeds puppies for animal testing. This must be stopped.
